Can I get free home insulation?
Yes! If you live in mainland Great Britain or the Isle of Wight and are a homeowner, residential landlord or private tenant and anyone in your property is over 70 or in receipt of one or more of the following benefits, subject to assessment you may be entitled to FREE insulation*!
- Child tax credit
(with household income less than £16,040) - Working tax credit
(with household income less than £16,040) - War disablement pension
(must include constant attendance allowance or a mobility supplement) - Disablement pension
(must include constant attendance allowance) - Attendance allowance
- Disability living allowance
- State pension credit
- Income support
- Housing benefit
- Council tax benefit
(single persons allowance does not apply) - Income based job seekers allowance
- Income related employment and support allowance
Tesco plans to extend the coverage of the service to include Ireland and the Scottish islands in the new year. If you live in Ireland or the Scottish islands or are a Council or Housing Association tenant and have applied/would like to apply, Tesco is currently registering all enquiries and will be in touch when we can service your enquiry.
